The leaves are changing color, the weather is cooling down, and pumpkin spice everything is starting to appear in stores. Yes, it's Fall! And what better way to celebrate than by bringing some autumn magic into your home? With these 8 DIY Fusion Mineral paint projects, you can add a touch of fall to every room in your house. From pumpkins and leaves to cozy fireplaces and warm apple pies, these decorations will surely get you in the mood for Fall! And the best part is, they can all be completed in a weekend!
1. Give Your Walls a Pop of Color With an Autumn Leaf Wreath
This project is so simple yet so effective! All you need is a few natural or faux leaves, some wire, a grapevine wreath, and your choice of Fusion Mineral Paint color. My favorites for this project are Praire Sunset, Highlander, and Cranberry. Gather your leaves and paint them in the different colors of Fusion Mineral Paint. Then, layer them onto your wreath using the wire to attach to the grapevine. When you have all of your layers of leaves, hang them on your front door, the wall of a guest bathroom, or your pantry door.
2. Create a Statement Piece With a Painted Vintage Table
First, prep your table with our TSP Alternative, then choose your Fusion Mineral Paint color. I just love beautiful rich greens like Manor Green, Bayberry, and Everett or a more neutral shade like Putty. Once you've decided on your paint, it's time to start! Here is a video of me painting a custom table for a client. I share lots of tips to ensure your furniture project turns out great!
3. Transform a Vintage China Hutch into a Stunning Piece Again
This project is perfect for anyone who loves a shabby chic farmhouse style! All you need is some Fusion Mineral Paint in the color of your choice—I love to use the color Chateau—and a little bit of elbow grease. You'll be amazed at the transformation! Look at how gorgeous this China Hutch turned out!
4. Thanksgiving Table Setting
Dress up your Thanksgiving table with painted silverware! What an easy way to add a personal touch to your holiday table setting. Choose your favorite Fusion color and paint the handles of your forks, knives, and spoons. Let them dry overnight, and then enjoy your beautiful creation! I know this sounds wild, but we have some antique sets at a great price at our booth at Timeless Treasures Antique Mall if you want to try this on a set other than your everyday.
5. A Simple Fall Centerpiece That Comes Together in No Time
This easy-to-make centerpiece is perfect for adding a fall flair to your dining room table or coffee table. All you need are some mason jars painted. Check out my blog post on how to paint mason jars that won't flake, burlap, or jute twine, and your favorite fall flowers. I recommend trying our Fusion Milk Paint in Mod Mustard for this project, but any yellow or orange shade that will do this is just one of my absolute favorites! After you have your jars painted, fill them, tie on the burlap or twine to give them that perfect shabby touch, and fill them with your florals!
6. Add Some Fall Flair to Your Front Porch With Painted Pumpkins
Pumpkins are one of the most iconic symbols of fall, so why not put them on display with this easy DIY project? All you need are some small pumpkins (natural or artificial), some Fusion Mineral Paint in the colors of your choice, and a paintbrush. It's that simple! Stack them tall, or use different sizes to show off that fall spirit! Here are a few more of my favorite fall DIY project paint colors!
7. Transform an Old Dresser or a Vintage Buffet in Time for the Holidays
This dresser from Fusion Paint in Chestler has given new life to a simple vintage buffet. It's the perfect way to add storage and a new style to any room in your home. Trust me. You can get this done over the weekend! Just look at this transformation!
